| Team Summaries | Eastside Ravens Notes: In continuous monsoon conditions, the Ravens and Roughriders squared off in the inaugural lacrosse game to be played at Skyline High School. It was a spirited and well played contest. The two teams played evenly through much of the first quarter. Eastside broke the ice with scores by senior captain Scott McCann and Sophomore Jack Andrews. As the torrents continued, the paint marking the creases on the astroturf washed away, earning Eastside a delay of game penalty. Freshman James Anderson later scored the first of 3 total man up goals to extend the lead to 3 - 0. Roosevelt middie Alex Lee scored the lone Roughrider goal, narrowing the gap at halftime to 3 - 1. Raven defenders played a stellar game, stifling the Roosevelt attack. Sophomore Kyle VanNostrand worked with Freshmen Jayme McLean and Kellen Gallacher to make things difficult for the Riders. Stingy Sophomore Erik Yaap played an outstanding game, with 13 saves. Freshmen middies Kyle 'The Glove' Kerr and Trevor Alderfer played outstanding defense as well. The soggy second half saw Andrews score twice more for his hat trick and McCann add the final tally of the night.
