Issaquah's second game in Texas ran much like the first. Issaquah struggled to overcome its own mistakes most of the first half. A few great individual efforts from Mikey Giannopulos put Issaquah on the board while Jordam Dondoyano was lights out in net. Despite being outplayed in many aspects Issaquah found themselves up 3-0 after the rather disjointed half.
Zach Fritz got things started in the 3rd quarter and Issaquah finally found some rhythm. Two more from Giannopulos and another from Jake Collins (5th game in a row) pushed Issaquah to a commanding 7-0 lead. The 4-0 run the first 10 minutes of the third quarter was the best lacrosse Issaquah played all night.
Failed clears and penalties let Westlake back into the game in the 4th quarter but Issaquah rode it out to earn the win.
