This is my first visit to the message board, and while i knew there were whiners and wannabees in the league-I can't believe that ANYBODY has a problem with Matt being on the ice with any team at any time-he is a pleasure to play with ,and against, has a great attitude on and off the ice.And with all the CRAP he has to put up with trying to run the league(very nicely I might add!)and all the complaints about every little or large thing from all of us,-it seems to me "unlimited sub-in"status is the least he deserves. If Matt scores the winning goal against my team during the playoffs while he's subbing for someone with a short bench, then I'm fine with that-and anyone who isn't has some "weekend warrior" issues!(please work them out on your own time!bob(-team blue-#4)

The only danger for me is if you crash into the bench again and I'm sitting there.

Matt, You have our Lipscomb Team playing two games on our spring break. The schedule was fine before, but most of our team will be out of town because the dorms close over the break. Our break falls March 20-24 and the dorms are closed from March 18-26. We need to correct this problem. Thanks

During this time of the year the Nashville Youth Hockey League and the GNASH High School programs shut things down for about a month. This leaves us with a ton of available ice that must be filled. The schedule is still basically the same except for earlier times and a couple Mondays thrown in. I wanted to get the regular season done as quickly as possible so we can have playoffs while the Bruins and Lipscomb players are still in town. The schedule will not change from this point on barring any unforeseen circumstances.

What's the reason for the massive schedule change (at least for the Bruins)? Is it going to change again?

When we started doing shootouts this session I found that sPortability does not yet have the capabilities to post scores as a shootout win or loss. What I have done to bypass this problem is post the score as the team winning the shootout as winning the game by one goal. This will give the team that won the shootout 2 pts. I then create a new game at the same time with the loser of the shootout tying the shootout team. This then gives the loser of the shootout 1 pt for the original tie.

I'm confused. who are the shootouts and why do they keep tying? I noticed the roster had no players listed. Are "games" against this team practices for the other team? Somebody mind clearing this up? Thanks.

I just wanted to send a note out to let everyone know if you ever need a goalie to give me a call. I was playing in the C league with the Grind, but am now playing on Sundays in the A/B league out at Southern Ice due to availability. I can't promise I'll be available, but you can still try...I've been playing net since I was 6 years old, I'm 34 now.
