Gary Cremen  1/9/2004 10:16:00 AM  Email	I am sorry to say that the Sharks will no longer be playing in the "B" League. Tom Keady and I have tried to save the team, but our efforts have failed. All games that are on the schedule with the Sharks will remain on the schedule, but I will need to fill those games with other teams. C League Player  1/8/2004 10:47:00 PM  Email	"It is pretty sad that this league is run only to make money and not a competitive league." Of course it's run to make money, this isn't UNICEF. Maybe one day UNICEF will get into the ice rink business and let everyone play for free, but until then it's gonna be run to make money. How can you say it's not competitive? The top 3-4 teams play competitive games, the top 3 teams end games with a 1 or 2 goal differential. A team with a 73 goal differential does not belong here at the highest level offered? Maybe it is the team that is complaining that does not belong in the league. I can honestly say that the lowest ranked team would be more competitive if they had left a few guys in the "C" league where they belong instead of playing at a level that is too far over their heads. Lose the dead weight and you'll be more competitive. That's what the Hammerheads did a few seasons ago. How can you say that the top team should not be in the league? Many of their games they came from behind to win. Just because your team doesn't have the talent to do that doesn't mean their team should be penalized. Do you the rest of the teams enjoy showing up to play a team that they have almost no chance of losing to? Maybe it's the worst team in the league that is making a mockery of this league? Do you realize that you will never get any better if you don't play teams that are better than you are? I'm sure the top 3-4 teams in the league would rather have their money back than to have to show up to play the lowest ranked team. If you think the top team should be out of the league, why don't you offer to run it? Or better yet, why don't you go out and find "A" leauge teams to join the league so you don't have to play them next season? I'm sure most of the higher ranked teams are playing at Piney because it's convenient for them, not because they want to beat the other teams by large margins. posted by Cleagueplayer@yahoo.com

Who runs this mockery... why is there a team with a -73 goal differential in this division they do not belong here. That is a joke not only to that team but to the rest of the teams in the division... why should we even show up to play them. I rather have my money back I payed to play them!!!
