If you remember, you were in our league at the beginning and then they dropped you to 4B. We are still in 4A. I don't know who you are talking about, but your intuition was wrong. I have friends who play in 4B, and I have watched several of his games. I appreciate your concern and your quick response to my e-mail.Did you respond out of guilt? Well, good luck in the finals? Even assuming they were, it is obvious Karl that you are a sarcastic person. Your message is quite childish and accomplishes nothing but adding fuel to the fire regarding an ugly game and situation last evening. Larry, I have no sour grapes whatsoever. You guys won. It just would have been nice if two teams of the calibur of both of ours could have had a little more fun playing against each other rather than have endless penalty minutes spoil what could have been a great game. posted by lmjr_1@earthlink.net

It seems you also have a player on your team with the initials G.B. who is also a referee at the Ice Station and who also referees adult games. larry atlas  2/23/2004 12:13:00 PM  Email	i would like to thank those who are keeping up on my stats....although my games played (6) at the end of the season was stated incorrectly by those who are concerned....my first game with the leafs ws played against the ice wholes on 1/11/2004 and those who are paying attention to the score sheet... i had 0 points in the last 2 playoff games...as far as the acusations of the refereeing in this league let the league take a look at what goes on...i agree that some of the games arent called or appear that they are called to all of our likings but maybe most of you didn't notice that the leagues #1 guys was watching probably the chippiest game played this year last night and i am sure that he will take the appropriate actions necessary to straighten out the referees...for those of you questioning referees that aslo play they are subject to the same rules as anyone else on the ice at anytime.....sounds like just sour grapes...you guys had a great season as a team finishing where you did in the standings....just accept the fact that you played hard and that you lost a playoff game and have to look forward to the next season.. posted by latlas@troongolf.com

Dave Schultz  2/19/2004 3:34:00 PM  Email	Is this the same Atlas (#61) who played in a total of 4 games, yet somehow showed up playing in 5 games. You shouldn't be so worried about other issues, other than morals and ethics. But, then again you play on a team that has an individual who referees in our league and an individual who used to write the schedule for the referees. I guess you are on the right team. Does fighting in a playoff game earn a suspension? Not if our league is corrupt and different rules apply for different teams. I agree 100% with Mr. Cortez. This league has turned into a joke, and more people need to speak up so it can be corrected. Hockey is too great of a sport to be ruined by such inadequacies. If I am a cook at McDonalds I should be treated with the same respect on the ice (by the almighty referees) as an individual who works for the Ice Station. posted by dropum00@hotmail.com

xxxxxxx  2/15/2004 10:46:00 PM  Email	the game tonight on the Olympic rink...Maple Leafs vs. Interceptors. There was a moment in the 3rd period where the interceptors goalie stopped a shot that ended up under the defenseman on the side of the net. It seemed like the refs didn't blow the whistle because they just wanted the time to run off of the clock. This is a VERY dangerous play, that guy on the ground could catch an uneccesary stick to the face or have some one fall on his leg and get hurt really bad. There was no reason that the whistle shouldn't have been blown immediately!! There is interference in our games all over the place all of the time, and it seems like it is never called because these guys just can't wait to get the hell out of there. i don't know how these things can be fixed, but if anyone else agrees, let the guy in charge of the league know. posted by silver_patrol@yahoo.com
