That really concerns me that the league has no regard for anyone's safety! From what I understand, stop me if I'm wrong, but this isn't the first time this season that this particular player viciously attacked someone during a game. By continuing to allow this player in this league despite repeated attacks, you are literally saying that it's acceptable behavior as long as you don't mind missing a few games and paying a measely $15 fine. That is absurd!! Aren't insurance prices high enough to run a facility like this without having lawsuits on your hand? I've personally witnessed skaters spitting at other skaters, people being threatened on and off the ice, and along with all the other crap that's happened, Ice Station is sending the message that they don't care about the safety of anyone, including their staff, paid referees, and more importantly the people who are paying hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars per family per year to keep this place going. This may be a nice facility, but at this price I am seriously considering to take my business elsewhere! posted by peppervg4@aol.com

GoalieGirl  8/13/2003 6:46:00 PM  Email	The Los Angeles Kings are are starting their second season with the Lady Kings down at Health South in El Segundo starting in September. Games are Friday nights at 8pm and 9:15. Since it's run by the Kings, there are a lot of opportunities that may not be available at other rinks, including discounted (and sometimes free) tickets to Kings games and clinics taught by Kings staff (namely, Daryl Evans). Secondly, my comments were directed at Chris, who I've played with for several years now, so I'm sure he can take a little friendly ribbing. I never said anything about anyone else on your team. Couldn't care less. It's probably the first time in all the seasons at all the rinks I've played at where the finals actually came down to the #1 and #2 teams. Good for you. I was gonna say congratulations, but since you seem so bitter over your monstrous win, you can just kiss off into the air! P.S. If you remember correctly the kid from the roadrunners got the scoring title last season not chris and as far as our team not moving up and "sandbagging" i seem to remember the regulators being in 1st place last season or was i am i crazy so just cause were doing well dont try and put the blame on us posted by digupherbones138@msn.com

Troy Andrian  8/11/2003 5:24:00 PM  Email	We are looking for people intersted in playing for a division 4 team. The team will be coach by Coach Tony Hernandez. We will have mandatory weekly practices which will be an hour long. It will be a great learning experience for anyone to be a part of. The team will be hold an open skate try out (specific date to follow). This is to ensure that we can have a competitive team and people that all have the same objective in mind. Okay, I'll take on the responsibility of starting the trash talk. I didn't want to be the one to have to do this, but since you guys are slackin' in the smackin' department, I'm gonna have to try my best... Is this the 3rd or 4th season in a row that Chris has won the scoring title in the BEGINNER division? Is there ever a time where you look up at all those trophies and think, "Gee, maybe I should move up and stop sand-baggin'"? Does it help you sleep at night to know you can light up all the beginner goalies or are you seriously just afraid to make that jump?
