I find it really funny that someone would have a problem with one of the players this far along in the league. There is only one game left and whether or not you like how someone plays it doesnt matter at this point so why complain. ShaUn is one of my good friends and if you knew anything about him that opinion would change in a second. Go Kelly!!! I love you!!(this is the daughter you never had!)Way to take the criticism shaun!

I would have to agree. If there were no goalies there wouldn't be a team. To play goalie is a hard position, if a goal is scord the team usually blames the goalie, if u lose a game the it's the goalies fault, when in reality it's not. Don't get me wrong sometimes it is the goalies fault, but a majority of the time it's not. A goalie is only there to stop the first shot, after that it's the defenses job to clear the puck!! If everyone doesn't do there part in the game then u lose. Thats why there is no "I" in team. One player can't hold a whole a team! Everyone has to participate in there position, and if that doesn't happen then u lose the game. There are good players, ok players, and sh*ty players, but this is inhouse not travel theses games don't even mean anything, We are supposed to be out there having fun. Also all this contriversy bout shaun, i have played on shuans team before he is a pretty good player, he plays like a team player, and like he said his goals wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for his team setting them up for him.

LET'S GIVE A CHEER TO "ALL" THE GOALIES!!!
THERE WOULDN'T BE A "TEAM" WITHOUT THEM.

To Bob Smitherton:

First of all, you really should get your facts straight before you open your mouth. Your ignorance is completely evident by the lack of intelligence in your statements. Shaun (with a U) is NOT sandbagging and he isn't a AA player. He's never played on a travel team at all at any point. He's never even tried out for one. He's strictly played inhouse and high school only. So how can you call him a sandbagger? He earns every goal he gets and is not on the ice more than any other kid. And if he is given more playing time, it is for game strategy purposes only and that decision is made by his coach, a man we highly respect and who is highly respected in not only the Ice Station but in his community.

Okay, I'm proud of Shaun cuz yanno, he's my son, but without any sort of prejudice, I can honestly say that Shaun is probably one of the most honest and genuine players that is on the ice and you can ask any of the coaches, players or parents that know him and I'm sure you'll hear the same thing. Now we are flattered at all the compliments that are thrown to him as we should be. Anyone would be. But Shaun does not for one minute think he could do anything without a team behind him. He's played hockey since he was 7 or 8 and he knows about being part of a team.

I'm sure when Shaun reads this, he'll just turn away and not say anything and he won't let it get to him because that's the way he is. But I'm his Mom and I don't take it as well. My motto is to stamp out ignorance. My claws are out.

To bob,
that kinda sucks..shaun happens to be a very good hockey player. i wonder if you have actually seen him play? thats the wonderful thing about in-house, there are more skilled players, and less skilled players...either way it doesnt matter. its all fun. and about your "AA brother" good for him. im sure that he is, in fact a great player...hence the AA.
oh, and lastly...it is ok to lose...but its not fun..and if you knew anything about hockey..you would know that.

Dear everyone,
Just because Shawn Lester is sandbagging in an inhouse league and looks good doesn't make him a good player at all. If my younger brother that plays on a AA team plays inhouse and scores fifty goals, does that make him a (Great?) player. No it certainly doesn't, it just a waist of time for other players on the team that look bad compared to a better player and in addition get less playing time due to a coach putting a better player on the ice more just to win a simple inhouse game, which is suppose to be fun and teach your kids values, especially teaching them it's ok to lose.

It would be nice to see updated team rosters when new players are added to teams.
Could someone update the rosters?

aww so modest. way to be shaUn.

ps..hey guys, stop complaining about the hawks. its just getting annoying. we got new players who happen to have been on the express team. DEAL WITH IT! not to sound cliche, but put yourself in our shoes (pre-last week.)you know that you would have wanted express players too. the way we see it (and the way you should too) is that there are like, 3 games left, and we just wanna have fun...and its funner to win, so just stop complaining.

Hey guys, I appreciate the flatery, but I am not the only one on the team. My goals wouldn't have been possible if my team didn't play their positions and create a scoring opportunity. Once again, thanks for the praise.

P.S. - It is Shaun...with a 'u'.

Hmmmm,
It seems that Jeffers11 speaks the truth. Once again Shawn proves to be an asset to his team. Good going Lester! With just a little more help the Rangers could have come out on top
