I would also like to add to my message above that as soon as my friend in the wheelchair vacated the gym, other parents were free to stand exactly where his chair had been for the remainder of the game. So he was only asked to leave because of his wheelchair. posted by Katiedunn80@hotmail.com

Im sitting here at a 7th grade travel game while an out of control referee is officiating my daughter's game. What's the problem? Not bad calls, etc, but the fact that she stopped a game and was extraordinary rude to the handicapped father of a player who dared to park him wheelchair next to the bleachers. When asked to move, he scooted his chair back well behind where the bleachers extended toward the court. Did they kindly show him a spot that was better? Not unless you consider yelling at him and pointing at the hallway. She refused to resume the game until he went into the hallway, which he graciously did for the sake of the girls. After the game concluded, she threatened the man's wife that she would be tossed out of the gym simply because she dared to ask for the referee's name. We will be pursuing this matter further, you can be sure. posted by Katiedunn80@hotmail.com
