San Juan Island 1. Take ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor 2. When exiting ferry in Friday Harbor, follow flow of traffic to the right, and then to the left and up through town. 3. Stay straight (on Spring St.) until first four way stop. 4. Turn right. 5. Take first left, high school football/soccer field is on the right. Notes on ferry: 1. The easiest thing to do is to walk on the ferry. It is cheaper, you don't have to worry about getting cars/bus in line, and it is only a 5-10 minute walk. Ask anyone you see where the high school is and they'll point the way. 2. If you bring a letter on school letterhead stating that you're on a school outing, all passengers are included in a $2 fee. You still need to pay vehicle fares. 3. If you call the Anacortes terminal ahead of time you can arrange for priority loading for whatever ferry you aim to be on. |

Continue on Sand Point until you reach the south end of Magnuson Park; Magnuson 2,3 and 4 are the fields in the “Sports Meadow” area in the south end of the Magnuson complex. Turn right onto NE 74th (main entrance to the complex). Take second right and then a left into the "Junior League playground" parking area. (Note that this is a different entrance to these fields than last year due to ongoing construction at the park.) There is a designated pathway leading from this parking area to the Sports Meadow fields. Field #2 is the middle field; fields 3 and 4 are at the northwest and northeast of the meadow area, respectively. From State Route 520: Take the Montlake Blvd. exit (north) and continue across the Montlake Bridge and past Husky Stadium. Stay to the right as Montlake becomes NE 45th Street. You will pass University Village Shopping Center on your left. Continue on NE 45th as it veers left and becomes Sand Point Way. Continue on Sand Point until you reach the south end of Magnuson Park; Magnuson 2,3 and 4 the fields in the “Sports Meadow” area in the south end of the Magnuson complex.
