Juary Jorge dos Santos Filho was born on June, 16, 1959.
He started his career as a soccer player at Santos F.C., being important as an 18-year-old to the club’s 1978 conquest of the Paulistan League.
After that title, in the following year Juary moved to Club Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico.
In 1980, Juary embarked on an Italian adventure that would last 5 seasons, where he played for Avelino, Ascoli, Cremonense and F.C. Internazionale Milano.
Juary moved to Portugal and F.C. Porto, in 1985, achieving his great moment in May 27, 1987 when he scored the decisive goal against FC Bayern Munich that gave FC Porto the winning 2x1 that awarded them with a 1986-87 European Cup Championship Trophy.
In the following year, Juary returned to Brazil where he played for Portuguesa de Desportos and Moto Club where he retired in 1990.
In 2007, Juary would return to Italy as a youth coach hired by S.S,C, Napoli. He also holds the same position at FC Porto of Portugal.
In 2010 after obtaining the UEFA-A soccer coach license, Juary would sign his first contract to coach a professional soccer team at Lega Pro Seconda Divisione club S.F. Aversa Normanna.
Juary stayed in Italy until 2012 coaching in the professional league as well working in the youth development programs of amateurs and local leagues, that feed the players to the professional clubs.
Since 2013 Juary is managing and directing a youth development soccer camp in the City of Araras in Brazil.
In the first week of 2015 Juary was hired by Santos F.C. as a Soccer Academy Franchise International coordinator and Adviser for the Youth Development program at Santos F.C.
