| Game Summary | Orange Team Captain Zach Cohen let the NDCL Lions know early that the Orange Lions were a top contender in the GCHSHL White Division this year, by flexing his muscle. His hard clearing pass shattered a pane of glass and caused a 25 minute delay. Both teams retreated to their locker rooms only 3 minutes into the contest. Apparently the OHS Lions took the extra locker-room session as an opportunity to turn on Senior Asst Captain Scott Hill. In a span of 10 seconds from the reboot of the game Hill drilled home his first of 4 goals on the night and added 3 assists as the game wore on. Zach Cohen fired home a hard shot in the third period that only did damage to the back of the net and allowed the game to continue on, while Justin Beachler, Tommy Hill, and Pablo Garcia rounded out the scoring. The Orange Lions defense gets a tip of the hat too, as they allowed freshman goalie Danny Moore to continue his streak of wins (7) and gave him a more relaxed night by only allowing 10 shots on net. Connor Zoul netted the NDCL Lions only goal in the second period to help them get on the scoreboard. |
