Raptors Notes:
This was a close and exciting game the whole way -- 5 lead changes, excellent pitching and multiple, spectacular defensive plays by both sides. Marcus O led the way for the Raptors on the mound allowing only 1 unearned run in the first three innings. The Raptors, after scoring 1 run in each of the first 4 frames, clung on to a 4-1 lead. The Muckdogs clawed back and tied the game with 3 runs in the top of the 4th, then pushed another run across on a clutch 2-out single to take a 5-4 lead after 5.

Backs against the wall, the Raptor bats finally came alive in the 6th inning. A huge, leadoff ground-rule double (into the CF woods) by Max R started things off and more big hits followed, including a 2-run single by Shaun M and an RBI single by Jet M.

Max R worked a perfect 1-2-3 bottom of the 6th to preserve the (8-5 victory) thanks in huge part to some amazing defense from Malik P at second base.
