River Dogs Notes:
The Grasshoppers and starting pitcher John S, who threw 3 solid innings, came out strong. Their focus and stellar defensive play had them up 4-0 at that point, despite another gutty outing by Matteo B (battling arm soreness) and Aidan L.

The visitors scratched out a couple runs in the 4th, then turned the ball over to Zach T and Sam P (who had a great first outing on the mound).

Overall, a nice quick pace and great command of the game behind the plate by the young Kalen Windels calling balls and strikes (with an assist in the field by his dad Scott). A big thanks to both.

Congrats to the Grasshoppers for their first win of the season. Well deserved for a suberbly played game!
