| Team Summaries | Storm Notes: Hot weekday baseball means that we use the field hose to cool off the teams after 2 innings of play! In and around the water hijinx, the Bees and Storm combined for some playoff caliber baseball in mid May! Skittles started, giving up 3 runs on 1 hit and several walks. Stardust threw the tough middle innings (2 2/3), and Bagels closed with help from Elmer's solid defense. Stardust and Skittles were both helped with great throws from Butter to Whisper and to Caveman (he caught two baserunners mid-theft). The Storm had a few good hits, but Tiny was the offensive star for the Storm, with a bases loaded, inning ending grand slam to left center in the 3rd. Called Up: Elmer Bees Notes: |
