River Dogs Notes:
In the most exciting game of the season so far for this team, the visitors were down 6-1 at the end of three (and 8-4 at the end of the fourth), after facing 3 strong innings by Jojo and spectacular plays in the field by the Nuts.

The River Dogs finally broke through with a 5-run max frame to take the lead- Aidan L stealing home for the go-ahead run. Dylan S entered the game and threw a shutdown 5th inning, which ended at the 1:57 mark. After a quick three up/three down in top of the 6th, Dylan headed back to the bump to preserve the lead. A series of long at bats resulted in a bases loaded with 1 out situation. On a 3-2 pitch, he coaxed a high popup that he hauled in, then wheeled to double up the runner off 2nd base, to end the game in thrilling fashion (and then find himself at the bottom of a good old-fashioned dog pile- a River Dog pile).
