Padraig Lane scored 11 points followed by Wrenn Robinson with 10 and Joe Boyden 3 points apiece. Danny Keep and Sean Gorham both played outstanding defense in a game that was almost won in the waning seconds, but the go ahead basket did not count. Dr. Johnson & Jolly Orthodontics Lightning remained undefeated with a close win led by Mason Layag's 11 points and 9 steals. Daniel Hoy, Ben Seelenbacher, and Hadi Shanaa's rebounds and active defense helped the team jump out to an early lead. The Lightning held off their opponents thanks to a solid game by Nico Abe (5 points, 9 rebounds) and Sterling Stokes (4 points, 5 rebounds). Liam Neal added 4 points. |
