The McDonald's South Shore Green Dragons overcame an 18-10 deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat MIB 29-20 in the season opener. Wren Robinson led all scorers with 21 points. Padraig Lane scored 4 points and had numerous key rebounds. Andrew Powell tied the game at 20-20, and Tilman Vetter also contributed with two points during the come back. |

The Green Dragons won the 3rd grade boys AYB Championship in a heart stopping 41-40 victory over the Lightening. The Dragons overcame a 23-13 halftime deficit led by tenacious team defense and the incredible scoring of Wrenn Robinson who had a second consecutive 30 point game. Andrew Powell, Tillman Vetter, Padraig Lane, Joe Boyden, and Zack Karch all added to the scoring. Sean Gorham and Danny Keep played outstanding defense in the comeback.
