Overlake's Band of Brothers Dominate
Submitted by walax on Tue, 2009-03-24 18:33.

Overlake comes to Blanchet for a little private school rivalry, and both with the same colors.

Overlake comes out swinging, scoring four goals in the first quarter. Blanchet tallies its first after Overlake's first just three minutes into play. The rest of the first quarter would be Overlake's. Sefadago scored the first, followed by Dolack. Sky would hit Joe Dolack, for number three and G. Dolack would assist Schmidt for number four. Blanchets Kruse makes the only score of the first.

Starting the second quarter, overlake's attack continues their air assault with G. Dolack hits Schmidt for his second, and then G. Dolack helps himself to another finish. Sky would have a solo score before Blanchet breaks the silence.

Evans and Johnston scored two in the second, and Schmidt would add one more for Overlake, to go into the half leading 8-3.

Lee scores one fed from Zielke to start the third, answered by a solo George Dolack goal. Just one minute later, Blanchet scores again from Vandenberg, and the score is 9-5.

Overlake regains composure, and tallies three unanswered to finish the third 12-5 on scores from Schmidt solo, two more from G. Dolack, and two from Scout assisted by G. Dolack who is all over the field.

Dolack finds Schmidt for their third goal like that, and Overlake is controlling possession leading 14-5 Another brother connection. Overlake has two brothers on defense, and two on offense, in Sky and Scout. They connect for a finish as Sky feeds Scout to add number 15. Kruse adds a second tally to close the lead to single digits, but proves to be too little to late. George Dolack continues his onslaught scoring unassisted for number 16 on the night. His brother Joe Dolack scores a final goal to make the tally 17. George Dolack ends the game with nine points. Schmidt finishes second with 6 points to tally 15 points just on Attack.

Looks like overlake's band of brothers continues to bring down the house.
