Team Summaries Eastside Ravens JV Notes:
In a rematch of our first game of the year the Ravens showed just how far they have come. Having been spanked 6 - 0 before, the Ravens came out loose but ready to play hard.
This was demonstrated by the fact that the Ravens outshot the Wolverines 24 to 12.

Unexpected sunrays occasionally snuck through the clouds as the weatherman missed the mark. As the game continued, a massive black wall of clouds hovered over the north end of the stadium. Fortunately the gusty winds were from the south, so we stayed cold but dry.

Game ball honors to Trevor Alderfer, who recorded 8 saves. Led by the mighty Josh Frankland, the defense played another excellent game. Both Will Jensen and Jake Randolph combined great timing and stick skills to make it difficult for the Wolverines to get many quality shots.

Robert Dunphy was offensive player of the game, with 2 goals and an assist. The offense was dominated by good attack play, with seven of the nine goals scored by attack players. Steady Curt Burton scored twice, as did Ryan Mangis. Evan Kennedy also scored, although he was playing in the midfield at the time.

Middie scoring by Tyler Lee, who also had an assist. The destroyer brothers finished off the scoring, with Steve Rowe feeding Doug Rowe for a close in blast.

The Wolverines played a fine game. #15, middie Stephan Brakebill was impressive, as was #35 Lucas Simmons.

Bellevue JV Notes:
Tough game for Bellvue. Our defense showed grit, Yuri played his heart out and all our short sticks hustled. We ran into a much improved Eastlake team with a tough goaltender and some special sticks at midfield and defense. Thanks to the home team for a good battle. Much luck the rest of the season!
