Nathan Hale JV Notes:
Good game played by both teams. Hale had the lead going into the fourth but Bellvue managed two goals to take the lead and the momentum.Should be a fun game next time.Bellevue JV Notes:
Thanks to the Nathan Hale guys for a good clean game. Bellvue came out a little flat for this game. We had a number of scoring opportunities, however the Hale goalie played spectacular, the goal posts and Hale's unique goal shape (joke) confused the Bellvue players who had trouble hitting the net. Yuri Bergeron played very well in his intial four quarter outing, stopping a variety of tough shots using some interesting tequniques. Lucas Simons overcame his aversion to throwing the ball IN the net and scored - he also added an assist. Chris Ward had an assist. Chris Peterson potted two and Yale Varty scored the game winner. Luke Johnson, playing on an a stellar all Freshman midfield line with Danny Choi and Alex Hope, added a goal.
Our midfield play was much improved. Evan Myrick is proving to be a gamer. Defensively we continued to play tough, Nick Peterson and Griffin Bennett, two Frosh defenders, are seeing increased time and making the most of it. We were luck to escape Hale with a win and lucky to (eventually) get home. |
