Team Summaries Eastside Ravens Notes:
Kablam! Just like that the visiting Quakers had a 2 goal lead. Things did not look good for the Ravens in this must-win game. The rest of the half was hard fought good lacrosse, ending with a score of Franklin 2, Eastside 1.

The second half was a different story altogether. The offense simply got on track and the defense played flawlessly. Erik ‘The Man’ Yaap had one of the his most memorable games in goal ever. He stopped two point blank breakaway goals, once off of his helmet, and once with a hockey style knee pinch to the turf. Awesome play again by all of the defense, holding the tough Quaker attack scoreless for the remainder of the game.

On the offensive side, the key was balance. Game ball honors went to Scott McCann, who scored a hat trick plus an assist. Scoring phenom Jack Andrews pumped in 3 plus an assist as well. Freshmen midfielders Trevor Alderfer, Brett Sack, and James Anderson each scored goals, as did Ian Lee.

The game was intense from the get-go, starting with the counts during warm-ups. Franklin is a well-disciplined and well-coached team.

Franklin Notes:
First of all Franklin High School Lacrosse wants to apoligize to the city of Redmond for coming in there ad stinkin' up the place. You wouldn't believe it by the score if we told you that the game was actually close at one point. I guess Franklin hasn't learned yet that even if your leading 2-1 at halftime that there is still another 48 minutes left to play in the game. Take nothing away from Eastside they came out and wanted it more than us. They played like their season was on the line, maybe the Quakers need to play like that?

Two break away goals for Franklin and both were stoned by the 'Great Keep' of Eastside. Great job and good luck the rest of the season. Rah, Rah, Eastside!
