Game Summary The Speedy Netters and Golden Eagles faced off in a tough defensive battle, with the Speedy Netters coming away with a 14 – 12 victory. For the Golden Eagles, Lauren Guerrero provided great offensive plays and sound ball control, while Skylare Perez, Priscilla Tu, and Jackie Carlise were strong on defense, and Megan Cvitanovic continued her dominance in the paint. The Golden Eagles took an early 4 – 0 lead, but the Speedy Netters fought back to tie it at 6 at the half. Both teams played with intensity throughout, culminating in an exciting finish as the Speedy Netters made the winning basket in the closing seconds.
