| Team Summaries | Tacoma Notes: This was a great exhibition matchup between a couple Jesuit schools in D-II. Both teams came out ready to play with great defense on either side. Unfortunately for Tacoma, Seattle Prep was able to move the ball very well which simply wore down Tacoma's defense. Prep started off the scoring with 6:07 left in the first. Tacoma's defense was able to hold them off again for the next 4 minutes even though Prep had some great shots. But inside the 2 minute mark Tacoma's defense started to tire and this allowed Prep to find the back of the net 3 more times to end the 1st ahead 4-0. Tacoma got the scoring started in the second quarter with a nice drive from Hilger. But again, Tacoma's defense wasn't able to hold off the potent Prep offense for an entire quarter and the Panthers were able to score 4 times in the last 5 minutes of the half for a halftime score of 8-1. Tacoma had a real hard time holding the ball of offense and as a result the Panthers were able to maintain posession for most of the game. Freshman Alec Stewart was able to key a mini rally for the Lions with a goal and an assist inside of a minute left in the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately that was all the Lions were able to muster and Prep was able to kill most of the 4th quarter while putting in 2 goals. The final score was 13-4 Prep. The Lions were led by Bryce Johnson with 2 goals, Alec Stewart with 1 goal and 1 assist, Hilger with an assist, and defender Nick Truckey with his first point of the year on a fast break assist.
