Team Summaries	Eastside Catholic Notes: Eastside Catholic(1-0) won it's first varsity game in Div II. They took 33 shots by 12 different players with goals by 10 of them. Lead by Chase Cowin(2 goals, 1 assist), JM Robins(3 goals), David Carlton(2 goals) and Andrew Carlton(goal & assist). Highline Notes: All in all the first game of the 2008 season was a blast for anyone who has watched this team put themselves together over the last several years. Kudos to our coach, Mark Benedum, for keeping the team together and giving our boys an opportunity to play. Ending the first quarter with a 2-2 tie was fabulous. Our first quarter goals were made by Connor Phelps and Jeremy Holly. We didn't hold that tie and had to wait for the third quarter for our 3rd goal by Hans Larson. Our goalie, Keith Jones, made so many saves that the Eastside Catholic spotter claimed to be getting really sick of saying 'white 17 save'. Keith had 24 saves by the end of the game. Thanks for having us out and for being wonderful at the scorekeepers table. Since our group of timers/scorekeepers are so new to this, we learn so much from each experience. Your spotter made it all flow.
