The game was tied up late in the third quarter, but Pinkerton went on to win 8 - 6. Ian LeCerf lead the Islander scoring with 3 followed by Michael Choe who had 2 goals and 2 ground balls. Alvin Ko picked off an errant pass by the Pinkerton goalie and shot from the thirty to score on the empty net. The defense played tough with Conner Beckwith gathering 6 ground balls, Connor Raffety added 4 and Adam Bowen had 15 saves in goal.
