| Team Summaries | Curtis Notes: Garfield: 4-4-1-5 (14) Curtis: 1-1-4-5 (11) A very slow start by Curtis lead to a 6 goal lead at half by Garfield. Curtis played strong smart ball in the 3rd quater to only allow 1 for Garfield, while putting up 4 of there own. While Taylor Dean (Soph) from Curtis had an excellent game with 5 goals and 1 Assist. The day went to none other than Coach Leary's achilles heal Caldwell Rohrbach. 6 goals and 2 assisst while being focused on by the defense and long stick middie. Caldwell once again denied Coach Leary a win by taking his team on his shoulders and igniting the fire that he has within himself when the compition is tight. Caldwell scored the last goal of the first half, the only goal of the 3rd quater and then 3 goals in a row in the 4th quater to tell Curtis that it may be getting close, but I am not going to let you win. My hat is off to this young man as a player who knows how to turn it up a notch when the game is on the line. St. Lawrence stoll one of the best gamers in the Northwest in my oppinion. I will never forget the way this young man plays the game of Lacrosse and if anyone wants to know the definition of heart and character they need to go no further than to Garfield and watch Caldwell Rohrbach play.
