Curtis Notes:
A great battle between two teams that showed a lot of heart on the field.

Curtis: 2-3-5-4(14)
Skyline: 1-4-3-0(8)

1st Quarter:
Curtis came out fast with Landon Carr scoring 2 minutes in with a great dodge and upper corner shot. Brother Colby responded with one of his own at 5:10 left. Skyline responde with the final goal of the quater with :45 seconds left. 2-1 Curtis

2nd Quarter:
Curtis came out after the break fast again with Bryce Sheldon makeing a dodge for a bouncer in the lower left corner 1:35 in. Landon Carr got his second 1 minute latter. Skyline again responded with Lachlin Murphy scoring a great shot on the move to his right in the upper corner non stick side with a defenseman on his hands. Curtis put it last of the quater up with 2:23 left. Up 5 to 2 they got complacent and started driving with the ball and not showing the great patients and ball movement that got them the first 5. Skyline took advantage and ripped off 3 goals to tie the game in the last 2 minutes.

3rd Quarter:
Curtis took the half time speach to heart and game out with the gas pedel to the floor. Scoring :34 seconds in and again :25 second later. Curtis finished its 3 goal run 2 minutes latter. Skyline responded with a goal at the 8:15 mark. The game got into a settled rythem for the next 6 minutes with it being broken by Mr Strand (3 goals on the night) with 2:49 left. With 1 minute in the quater left the fireworks started to go off. Curtis scored 2 in response with :47 seconds left and :25 seconds left. Skyline was not willing to leave the fight and scored one of their own with :10 seconds left. Curtis 10 - Skyline 8

4th Quarter:
Defense was the name of the game on both ends of the field for the first 3:30 of the quarter. Skyline's Gervias picked up his 4th personal and Curtis responded with a goal. With his hands tied due to the penelties Curtis was able to take advantage of the missing aggressivness and scored 2 more within 1 minute. The final goal was scored with 5:15 left to finish the game Curtis 14 - Skyline 8

Cal Dyer played excellent defense on the faceoffs keeping Gervias limited on the groundballs. Then going down to the box and playing awesome one on one defense keeping Murphy to 1 goal while he was covering him. An unbeliveable night Cal.
