Tonight's game pitted #5 D1 Rogers against #1 D2 Emerald Ridge in a playin game to determine Puget Sound #5, this game also determined King of the Hill for the 3 Puyallup schools.
A well played and well fought game by both teams, as Rogers played their hearts out and put on one of their best performances of the season. Rogers goalie Aydin Baltazar making some excellent saves, he recorded 8 saves tonight. Rogers controlled the face-off X helping them stay close in the game.
Emerald Ridge goalie Conner McMullen recording 17 saves tonight on 24 shots on goal, helping his team secure the win. ER winning the GB game tonight also 40 to 25.
So congrats to Emerald Ridge on continuing in the play-offs and also capturing the King of the Hill trophy for 2nd time in 3 years.
