Silverdale, WA…The Klahowya Eagles and the Inglemoor Vikings played an evenly matched nail biter for the first round Division II playoffs. Inglemoor was up 3 to 2 at the end of the first quarter. Each team scored two in the 2nd, leaving the score at the half Inglemoor 5 Eagles 4. Inglemoor scored first after the half, pulling ahead by two, but Team Captain Torsten Robinson brought his A game, scoring 3, 1 behind the back, unanswered goals to pull ahead of the Vikings by 1. Vikings Griffin Hagstrom and Cooper Durkin retaliated with 2 unanswered goals pulling ahead of the Eagles by 1 at the end of 3rd quarter. Hagstrom scored the first goal for the Vikings in the 4th to pull ahead by 2. Carried by the spirit of their 4 fallen Lacrosse brothers, the Eagles scored 3 unanswered goals to win the game. The first by leading assist and points per game player in the state Joe Hawley. Austin Keller scored the equalizing goal with 1:09 left in the game, won the face off, and scored the tie breaking goal to win the game, advancing the Eagles to the Quarterfinals. Eagles Goalie Kyle Bergmann allowed the Eagles to edge out the Vikings with 13 saves. Vikings Goalie John Midgarden had 11 saves.
