Home Notes:
A beautiful day in the San Juans set the stage for a war between Klahowya and San Juan. With an unbelievable advantage of 6 penalties on SJ and none for K, the Eagles used four man up goals to take a 6-5 lead into half, including a three minute unreleasable that carried for two minutes into the second half. San Juan knew the beginning of the second half would be critical. They were able to shut down K and score a man down goal to even the score. San Juan dug deep to run the score to 9-6, only to have a very tough Klahowya team score two to bring it 9-8. Both teams traded goals in the final minutes. Final, 10-9 San Juan. An after the game bbq proved that what happens on the field stays on the field. San Juan has tremendous respect for Coach Hawley, his players, and the fans and parents of the Klahowya Eagles.

San Juan record: 7-6-0
