With the seniors and two juniors out of the game, the younger players had an opportunity to get significant playing time against Blanchet. Connor Haney continued his outstanding play leading the team with 2 goals and 4 ground balls. He also played most of the second half as a long-stick middie.
Peter French had Lakeside’s other goal and assisted on one goal. Harrison Forch had several big hits on the defensive end of the field. Lewis Page, freshman, made his debut in goal, playing the second half.
Tyler Schmutz, Blanchet, led all scorers with 5 goals and 1 assist. Adam Derr had 3 goals; Taylor Bissett, Aiden Danford, and Connor Black all had 2 goals.
