Home Notes:
Lakeside 2-0-2-3- 7
Issaquah 3-2-1-2- 8

Lakeside gave Issaquah a good run in the 2nd half after Issaquah pushed to a 6-2 lead. Issaquah got a first half spark from Matt Robson's 2 goals. He scored his second after picking off a clearing pass at midfield and weaving his way through Lakeside's entire defense.

In the 2nd half, Sean Whitsitt scored his 2nd of the day, with 10 seconds left in the 3rd period to give the Lions momentum. They carried it into the 4th, scoring two goals in the first two minutes of the quarter to tie it.

Inside the 4 minute mark, Jon Matusiefsky found Craigh Cornelius on the backside to regain the lead. Chris Huchinson won the next face-off. 30 seconds later, David Campi drove hard from 'x', dove and snuck it in for a 2 goal lead.

Issaquah looked to run out the clock inside 2 minutes left, but Lakeside doubled well, gained possessin, took it straight down the field and scored. Again Hutchinson won a key face-off, but again Lakeside doubled hard and took it away. Lakeside made one last push but never got off a shot as Issaquah's defense held.

Garrett Johnson made several big saves in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Away Notes:
Great season by the senior class: Alex Siegel, David Axelrod, Aaron Bodansky, Charlie Mead, Gabe Grant, Sean Whitsitt, Brooke VanDusen, Peter Overman, Charles Burgoyne.

We had the ball in our sticks with 20 seconds left, but couldn't get off the equalizing shot. Just a great lacrosse game. Good luck Issaquah.
