Von Gillman’s Home Repair Gunners opened the season with a hard fought 27-23 win over the Cyclones. The game saw multiple lead changes until the Gunners took charge in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Cyclones 10-4. Alex Ingalls led a balanced Gunners attack with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 assists. Wesley Cheung was all over the court on defense and came up with 4 points, 4 steals and an assist. Devin Noonan dropped in 6 points and grabbed 7 boards. Dominick Chavez and Webb Dugas each scored 2 points. Dugas and Mica Sanchez anchored a stout interior defense and swept the boards for the Gunners.
