Great game and great way for Vashon to finish the season.Pretty solid defense at both ends through the 1st half. Vashon grabbed the lead in the 3rd, surged ahead by 3 in the 4th only to have Garfield score the final two to keep it a nailbiter until the final horn.
Congratulations to Vashon Goalkeeper Chad Richardson who turned in his finest performance of the season, to Vashon's defensive unit that stepped it up in the absence of Ian Blixt, and to Senior Captain Derek Kimbrough who led the offense to enough goals to win.
