Vashon put on its game face and game haircut for this one from the beginning.Vashon opened up in the 1st quarter, taking charge with a 5-1 lead. Vashon extended its lead to 11-2 at half, then relied on its defense in the second half to preserve the win. Dane Loraas and Alex Craighead stood out on offense with 6 and 5 goals respectively, and Alex DeGroot and Duncan Mayshark played fundamentally sound defense.
Congratulations to Snohomish for its hustle and perserverance, and a fine season.
