No league summary available Away Notes: The second round of the playoffs was not as kind to the Lady Lions as the first round was. The girls faced a tough, unbeaten, Horizon Huskies team in Monday's (4/25) matchup. The Lions were looking for some revenge after an early season loss to the Huskies, but none would be had. The Lions came out strong for the first minute or two of play controlling the highly contested first draw and registering 3-4 shots right off the bat. Unfortunately a goal could not be found and the Huskies regained their composure and started playing their game. Horizon recovered by scoring a handful of goals in the first half putting the lions on their heels. The lone Lion goal of the first half came off a rocket from senior Jane Evans (2g, 5gb, 3ct). Score at the half was 1-4 Huskies but the Lady Lions were not about to give up. The girls fought back and brought the game close with two goals from sophomore Courtney Johnson (2g, 3gb) and another from Jane Evans. Horizon was not content to allow the game to be tied and always kept the lead by a goal or two the entire game. Final score Lions 4 - Huskies 9.
