Issaquah 2-0-2-1- 5
Southridge 2-2-0-0- 4

A somewhat 'ugly' win, but Issaquah fought through the tired legs, continued to battle and pulled it out in the end.

Issaquah took a quick lead 30 seconds into the game, but Southridge came right back with two of their own. Matt Robson tied the score on a man-up near the end of the 1st.

Southridge regained the lead midway through the 2nd. A few minuted later, the Skyhawks looked to the feed the crease. Issaquah's defense collapsed on the attackman, but the goalie was screened and an errant pass turned into a goal. Issaquah found itself down by two for the first time all season.

Midway through the 3rd, Issaquah had possession and was admist a substitution. Southridge attempted to double, but Jon Matusiefsky fought through it and found Nick Tierney who had just come on the field. Tierney caught and ripped a laser over the keeper's offside shoulder.

Near the end of the 3rd, Issaquah capitalized on a quick transition as Cornelius found Matusiefsky at the top of the high slot. Matusiefsky found Campi on the doorstep to tie the score.

4th quarter was back and forth as each team failed to capitalize on chances with silly turnovers. With under 3 minutes left, Campi fed a pass from behind that missed its target. But Nick Tierney tracked it down and fired a shot low. The keeper got a piece, but it ricocheted off his foot and in.

Issaquah was then able to run out the clock and escape with a hard earned come-from-behind win. After a rocky 1st quarter and a half, the defense buckled down and pitched a shutout the rest of the way. Dustin Cramer again led the charge with half a dozen takeaways, constantly disrupting Southridge's top playmaker, Seth Corning. Dustin Diebolt also played well at LSM with a season high 4 groundballs and in tying up Skyhawk midfielders in between the restraining lines.
