A close game all the way. F-M scored twice in the first 2 minutes but the Islanders came back with goals from Chris Taylor, Brad Gillis and Kyle Christenson (assist from Alan Chirls) to go up 3-2 at the half. MI went up 4-2 with a goal from Alan Chirls before F-M scored 3 more. Brad Gillis scored the Islanders' 5th goal, but the team came up short 7-5 in the end. Noah Symington had 18 saves in goal for the Islanders. Note: Fayetteville-Manlius defeated previously unbeaten and #1-ranked West Genesee on Thursday night by a score of 8-5.
