Mystery Adventures: Special Edition For 2nd & 3rd Graders DESCRIPTION: What if... You could discover a secret hidden for centuries? Help bring an enemy spy to justice? Travel through space....or time? Unlock another dimension? And what if you could do all these things in an after school class? Welcome to Mystery Adventures: Special Edition. This is a mystery solving class offered exclusively for 2nd and 3rd grade students. It will only be offered every so often, and is a unique opportunity for students in 2nd and 3rd grade to discover the exciting worlds and experiences of The Mystery Adventures class. The Mystery Adventures class is an interactive mystery solving experience. Episodic mystery stories are brought to life through guided searches for clues, audio and video created for the class, storytelling, acting, and the imagination of the participants. The stories are rooted in genres popular for children such as spy/espionage, fantasy, science fiction, and action/adventure. Mystery Adventures: Special Edition is a class where the experiences are specifically geared towards 2nd and 3rd grade students. The mysteries are exciting, interactive, immersive and action-packed, but not scary. A fusion of entertainment and education, this popular activity encourages children to use imagination to solve problems and inspires them to create their own stories. Students work with Maimone Attia, storyteller and veteran after school teacher, to solve thought-provoking, imaginative mysteries. So get ready to turn a normal day at school into an adventure.
