|Description||This class is designed to give students the opportunity to experiment with the tactile pleasure of working with clay while expressing their own ideas. Students will be encouraged to select their own subject matter from demonstrations on each assignment such as animals, people, and mask making.
Mosaics will also be introduced and the artwork will be a combination of 2 dimensional clay pieces attached to wood. They will then be enhanced with tiles, grouted and ready to hang. While learning these techniques, children are encouraged to have fun and enjoy the process. Grades 2-5
Taught by Colette Camozzi, Havens
