* 2012 - 4v4 Spring Developmental Program - Info * Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club (SCCYSC) presents: 2012 - 4v4 Spring Developmental Program - girls/boys Age Groups; U7, U9, U11, U13 Co-ed... However, when numbers allow, gender pure teams will be formed. Spring 4v4 is geared towards motivated/advanced players, that are looking for a fast-paced, high-touch environment to further increase their game time thought process and touch. 4v4 is the preferred developmental format of youth coaches worldwide. To participate, players must have some understanding of the game of soccer. -------------- League info - League will run from March 4th, thru May 20th. Participants will play 10 games and have 5 training sessions, all guided by a professional coaching staff. - Training sessions will focus on technical skills building, while encouraging quick decision making. - Game days will be geared towards on field strategy. First half of game will be instructional, second half instruction free. *Last Training and last Game session, is dedicated to the highly exciting and physically demanding beach soccer discipline, featuring instruction by members of the US National Beach Soccer Team. These session's will lead player into June's beach soccer tournament's. --------------- Important Facts for All Age Groups; All training/games will be played at local turf fields, no rain outs. League: March 4th thru May 20th. No games: April 8th Easter & May 13th Mothers Day. All TRAININGS will be held on Thursdays/Fridays. ------------- - GAME DAYS (Sundays). March 4th: Check in / Introduction to 4v4 format March 11th, 18th, 25th, April 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th and May 6th & 20th (Beach) *times will be sent soon. - TRAINING DAYS (Thur/Fri) March 15th/16th, 29th/30th, April 12th/13th, 26th/27th & May 17th/18th (Beach) *U7 and U9 on Thursdays / U11 and U13 on Fridays - times will be sent soon. ------------- - IMPORTANT - There is limited space, so there will be a cap put on the amount of players per age group this season. Participation will be first come first serve, no exceptions. There will be a waiting list formed, in the case a spot opens. Registration fee is $115 per player and there is a $10 sibling discount available. If you would like to pay by check, please fill out the online registration form and enter discount code “check”.
