Description
We are excited to offer the EBU Spring 2012 Psycho-Motor Skills Program to all our U9-U11 teams. EBU U9 pools (both boys & girls) plus all U10 & U11 State teams will have access to the program as part of their registration fee. Regional teams do not have the automatic option of participating in the Psycho-Motor Skills Program but, if there are spaces available, Regional players can sign up for $50 per player (Regional players pay substantially less registration fees than State players). Coaches of the team do not have to attend the Psycho-Motor Skills sessions. This program has been an integral part of our club’s “Individual Player Development “philosophy and over the last few years many players have benefitted and seen significant improvement in, gross motor skills, coordination ability, agility & dexterity from participating in the program. The Psycho-Motor Skills sessions will start on Friday March 16th 2012 and run for 10 weeks finishing on Friday May 18th 2012. All sessions will be held at Raimondi field Oakland. The sessions will rotate between boys and girls from 4:00pm – 7:00pm on a weekly basis so each gender will complete five Psycho-Motor Skills sessions during Spring 2012. The schedule is as follows: Friday March 16th 4:00pm – 5:00pm U9 Boys 5:00pm - 6:00pm U10 Boys 6:00pm – 7:00pm U11 Boys Friday March 23th 4:00pm – 5:00pm U9 Girls 5:00pm - 6:00pm U10 Girls 6:00pm – 7:00pm U11 Girls Friday March 30th U9-U11 Boys (time slots as above) Friday April 6th U9-U11 Girls (time slots as above) Friday April 13th U9-U11 Boys (time slots as above) Friday April 20th U9-U11 Girls (time slots as above) Friday April 27th U9-U11 Boys (time slots as above) Friday May 4th U9-U11 Girls (time slots as above) Friday May 11th U9-U11 Boys (time slots as above) Friday May 18th U9-U11 Girls (time slots as above) Lead coaches for the program will be Peter Hayton (EBU Technical Director / Advanced Psycho-Motor Skills Diploma) and Andre Hebert (EBU U9-U14 Boys Asst. Director of Coaching / Basic Psycho-Motor Skills Diploma).
