Vashon: 1-3-1-2- 7
Issaquah: 3-9-4-1- 17

A drizzly day, but some well played lacrosse in an opening season contest for both clubs.

Both teams came out intense and maybe a little too amped as the ball spent a lot time on the ground or back and forth. Once things settled, Issaquah jumped to a 3-0 lead before Vashon answered. Issaquah turned it up a notch in the 2nd quarter scoring 9 goals. A solid 3rd quarter had Issaquah up 16-5. The 4th allowed everyone suited up for Issaquah to see action.

David Campi led the charge with 5g, 1a. Jon Matusiefsky inverted Campi's numbers with 1g, 5a. Spencer Phillips doubled his season total of a year ago with two goals. Freshman, Travis Wright chipped in with 2g, 1a and another freshman, Nick Yapp, scored his career first.

Jake Randolph had a great day on D, picking off several Vashon passes. Garrett Johnson made 7 saves in the win.
