Game Summary | After a four game slide the Rainiers finally broke out of their hitting slump to beat the Bulls 7-3. The Rainiers played an inspired game and seemed determined to deliver a win for their cheering mothers on this beautiful Mother's day morning. The Bulls pulled ahead 2-0 early in the game and held the Rainiers for three innings. In the fourth inning with a runner on first, Ari P. had a beautiful hit that sailed over the centerfield fence for the Rainiers' first homerun of the year. By the end of the fourth the Rainiers had scored a total of seven runs and pulled ahead for good. Andrew B. logged two outs for the Rainiers with excellent defensive plays at second while Vincent B and Cameron W. each contributed strong pitching performances to seal the win. |
