| Game Summary | Dragons 4 Cannons 25 The Dragons opened the scoring in the top of the 1st with hits by Jacob F. and Jack C. bringing in a run. But it was all Cannons after that, with every Cannon getting at least one base hit, and multiple hit games for Jeffrey D., Evan F., Dayton S., Matthew R., Devin M., Eli J., William C. and Thomas W. A highlight was a bases clearing home run on a drive to the center field fence by Dryden B. Devin M., Eli J. and Madison W. pitched an outstanding game for the Cannons, holding the hard hitting Dragons lineup in check for most of the game. The Dragons pitched well too, giving up only three bases on balls the entire game. The Dragons had a number of bad bounces and close calls go against them, but played hard and came through with some great defensive plays in the late innings. |
