| Game Summary | Rainiers 8 Devil Rays 7 Saturday's game at the Oakland Army Base between the Rainiers and Devil Rays could have gone either way, but ultimately the Rainiers won due in part to solid pitching, timely hitting and good base running. Nagi O., Luke D. and Ari P. had key hits and RBI's for the Rainiers. Pitchers Cameron W. and Andrew B. helped to keep Devil Rays from pulling too far ahead. The two teams traded scoring throughout the game and after six innings the game was still tied. In the one extra inning played, Rainiers pitcher, Vincent B., held off several scoring threats from the Devil Rays to win the game on a strike out. |
