| Game Summary | The Rainiers staged a 6th-inning 5 run come from behind victory over the Scrappers on Saturday morning at Caldecott. The game ended on a bases loaded double to centerfield by Theo Q. Luke D scored the winning run from first. Over the first three innings the Scrappers outplayed the Rainiers on both sides of the ball, combining excellent defense with well placed hits. In the fourth inning the Rainiers finally began to come together on defense as Nagi O made a nice catch for an out on a line-drive hit to second. Despite the defensive spark and inspired play by Ari P at catcher, the Rainiers' bats stayed dormant until the end of the game and entering the 6th the score was 7-3 Scrappers. Before the game winning hit, Chris C, Zach S and Ducson Z all had base hits to put the Rainiers in a position to win the game. | ||
