Issaquah dominated possession from the get go though showed signs of spending too much time in the sun as they looked a little sluggish. Challenged to start finding the net, Issaquah came out focused in the 3rd quarter and scored 6 unanswered to open up a tight ball game. Big game ball to Sol Hawkins as the sophomore long pole scored 3 times, the final one on a creative backhanded shot after evading multiple defenders. Gaje Gunter once again dominated the faceoff x while Spencer Berntsen led the way with 7 goals.
