A good battle to close the regular season. Unfortunately, Issaquah closes on a three game losing streak.

Issaquah came out firing in the first quarter but couldn't find the cage and Woodinville took a 1-0 lead to the 2nd. Griffin Fish finally broke the ice for Issaquah with a pretty face dodge inside to neatly finish. Two minutes later Colby Andersen capitalized on a flag down situation forcing one inside to Jack Richards who put it away. Issaquah quickly added to it, capitalizing on the resulting man-up opportunity as Max Dahlquist stuck a hard bouncer for the 3-1 lead. Woodinville responded to make it 3-2 before Issaquah gave up a bad one to close the half. With just 4.2 seconds left and the ball off the headline, the Falcons slung the ball straight to the crease, Issaquah failed to clamp down and ball was in the back of the net, so 3-3 at half.

3rd quarter was much like the first. Locked in another defensive battle, Issaquah once again took advantage of a man-up opportunity as Colby Andersen tickled the twine for a 4-3 lead. Issaquah defense played admirable all night and Kolton Maans continued to make saves. Issaquah held the lead the rest of the quarter. It was short lived though as off the 4th quarter faceoff, Andrew Ng became the Falcon's difference maker. He managed to strip Issaquah faceoff man Gaje Gunter, then went the other day, face dodged one defender and fed opposite pipe for an easy finish - tie game. The Falcons would add another making it 5-4 with 9:40 to play.

This time it was the Falcons turn to be on lock. Ng made several big plays down the stretch. Despite two man-up chances inside the final two minutes, Issaquah failed to put a true good look on cage. Fittingly it was Ng again who came up with a big strip with under 20 seconds left to preserve the win for Woodinville.

Finishing as the KingCo #4, Issaquah will now head to Wenatchee in the first round of the 4A state playoffs.
