A strange night and a physical lacrosse game that saw a multitude of injuries, a multitude of penalties and a comeback win for Issaquah.

The Wildcats came out physical and flying around, jumping to a 3-0 lead and forcing Issaquah to burn an early timeout. After a deep breath, Max Dahlquist got Issaquah on the board with just under 4 minutes left in the quarter. After giving one back, Issaquah rattled off three straight in the final 1;19 of the quarter, the last with just 5 seconds left to tie the game at 4.

Second quarter started with a 3 minute stick penalty on Issaquah giving Mount Si momentum as they scored two goals. Issaquah got a small spark scoring a man-down goal while killing off the rest of the penalty, but it didn't deter the Wildcats as they just kept finding the net to push to an 8-6 lead at half. To make matters worse, Issaquah's top two face-off men left the game in the 2nd quarter due to injuries.

Issaquah managed to claw back to tie it once again at 8 midaway through the third quarter and then things got weird. On a flag down situation, Max Dahlquist looped around the goal and collided with two Wildcat defenders, managing to score and give Issaquah it's first lead. One of the defenders went down in a heap and the game was delayed 15 minutes for the ambulance. Once play was restarted, John Batura won a huge faceoff that allowed Issaquah to capitalize on the ensuing man-up and Jack Richards stung one to put Issaquah up two. A few big saves from Kolton Maans kept Mount Si off the scoreboard entirley in the 3rd and Issaquah went 10-8 into the 4th.

Colby Andersen scored the first of the 4th quarter to put Issaquah up 3 and from there it was a back and forth scrap fest with teams trading goals, poor decisions and penalties. Bottomline, Issaquah found a way to grind it out, handle some adversity and pull out the W.
